T.1 What this site is

Idle Facet is an informational reading course about getting started with downloadable PC games. It is general information for a general audience. It is not professional advice of any kind — not legal, financial, consumer or security advice — and it has not been written with your circumstances, your computer or your household in mind.

It is not accredited training. Nothing here is a qualification, there is no assessment, no certificate and no record of participation, and no claim is made that completing it confers any standing.

T.2 Products change; check with the vendor

Where the course describes a product, it describes what the vendor has published, and vendors change what they publish. Prices, system requirements, supported operating systems, terms of service, account rules and support arrangements can all change without notice to us. Before you act on anything in a step, confirm it against the vendor's own current pages. Where a vendor has not published something, the course says so rather than filling the gap, and that silence should not be read as a statement either way.

T.3 Links to other websites

The course links to vendors' sites, to Australian government bodies, and to one paid affiliate destination described on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Those sites are not under our control. We do not vouch for their content, their availability or their handling of your information, and once you follow a link you are governed by their terms and their privacy notice rather than ours.

T.4 Trade marks

All brand names on Idle Facet, World of Warships among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Idle Facet, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.

T.5 Using the material

You are welcome to read these pages, print the checklists and use them for yourself, your family or the people you help. Please do not republish the text as your own. The content of this site is the copyright of F-Global s.r.o., and quoting a short passage with a link back is fine.

T.6 Availability

We try to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be available without interruption or free of error. Pages may be revised, reorganised or withdrawn. Where we notice an error we correct it, and if you find one, info@idlefacet.online is the address to tell us at.

T.7 Liability

To the extent the law permits, F-Global s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or anything linked from it.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the extent the law allows. If you are a consumer in Australia, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are unaffected by anything on this page, and the ACCC publishes guidance on what those rights are.

T.8 Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, where F-Global s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. This does not displace any consumer protection you have under the law of the place where you live. For readers in Australia, that means the Australian Consumer Law and the rights it gives you continue to apply, and you may bring proceedings in Australia where the law allows it.

T.9 Changes to these terms

If these terms are revised, the effective date above is updated in the same edit. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the revised version.
